BELLEAIR BEACH, FL- Belleair Beach Mayor Dave Gattis is announcing his support for Amanda Makki in the race for Congress in District 13 today. Mayor Gattis is the 13th local mayor to put his support behind Makki.
“Amanda Makki is the real deal. She took the time to meet with me one-on-one and was not afraid to answer the tough questions,” said Belleair Beach Mayor Dave Gattis in a statement today. “She is a genuine conservative with the experience and motivation needed to make a positive difference in Washington D.C., Florida, and Pinellas County. As a fellow conservative, I am proud to endorse Amanda Makki.”
“I’m grateful for Mayor Gattis’ support in this race,” said Amanda Makki. “He recognizes the value of a Community Conservative who can deliver for the people of Pinellas and has the experience needed to go to Congress and fight for us on Day 1.”
Today’s endorsement further strengthens Makki's massive lead of support from local leaders in the race to fill the District 13 seat being vacated by Charlie Crist.
