"At least 12 U.S. service members are dead and more are injured because of the President’s failed leadership,” said Makki. "I continue to press President Biden to do the right thing and resign. This Administration is incapable of leading." Makki first demanded the President's resignation on August 16th. "It was immediately clear the President was asleep at the switch," said Makki. “The Biden administration’s complete failure to create a strategic plan for withdrawal has now left U.S. service members and Afghans dead and wounded on the ground in Afghanistan. Biden has their blood on his hands," said Makki. "What occurred is absolutely President Biden’s doing.”
