AMANDA MAKKI STATEMENT ON COURT'S DENIAL OF ANNA PAULINA LUNA'S INJUNCTION AGAINST WILLIAM BRADDOCK

For Immediate Release RaeChelle Davis RaeChelle.Davis@ARIMediaWorks.com

SAINT PETERSBURG, FL - Amanda Makki (@amandamakki) released the following statement after the injunction sought by her opponent, Anna Paulina Luna, against William Braddock was denied today in court. Ms. Luna also accused Makki of being involved in this matter. Makki has never made any such threats. In a letter to Ms. Luna, Makki’s attorney asked for an apology and full retraction (ATTACHED) which Luna and her attorney have refused to do. Amanda Makki, who is running to represent Florida’s 13th Congressional District in the U.S. House, said: “As I’ve said from the beginning, Ms. Luna only ever involved me in this matter to smear my name and to hurt me politically. She has not issued a retraction, she has not apologized, and she cannot provide a single piece of evidence of my involvement because there is none. Going around accusing people of trying to kill you is an insane and dishonest attempt to get them out of the way.” “Ms. Luna testified that she is unable to campaign and has been forced to move out of fear despite having a temporary injunction in place. Conservatives have an opportunity to take this seat back and if Ms. Luna can’t be part of the process she needs to drop out of the race,” said Makki. Makki has spent her career fighting for conservative values as a Senior Republican Healthcare advisor for the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives, a frequent commentator on conservative ideals and strategy on Fox News, Fox Business, Newsmax, and several other networks. She served in the Pentagon after 9/11, and as an attorney during the Wisconsin recount for President Trump. Makki is endorsed by five Pinellas County mayors, more than any other Republican or Democratic candidates, as well as Florida’s own Maggie’s List. Paid for by Amanda Makki for Congress # # #
