Contributions are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.

By law, the maximum contribution from a couple is $11,200 from a joint bank account.

​

That equates to $2,800 per person per election for the 2020 Primary and General Elections, which is $5,600 per individual and $11,200 per couple. Federal multi-candidate PACs can contribute $5,000 per election, or $10,000 for both elections in 2020.

​

Contributions from corporations, labor unions, foreign nationals (without "green cards") and federal government contractors are prohibited. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, address, occupation and name of employer of individuals whose aggregate contributions exceed $200 per election.
